I don't know if any one is gonna read this, but well, I'll just write it anyway....
Currently getting sick of PC games and Online games, in the sense that there is nothing innovative or interesting to play, I just quit playing games on PC... I got myself a PS2 and is now busy with the games. Just got SD Gundam G Generation Seed (an old game, I know) and Another Century Episode 2 (a not so old game, I know), currently having fun (or frustration?) in SD Gundam GG Seed.

Risk Your Life 2 Incomplete Union
Supposedly the sequal or upgraded version of RYL, hosted by CIB, not aprticularly good service (I abbnadoned RYL1 in 2 days after topping up a month card, due to their abusive harrassing setting in game, and abusive actions of their Voluntary GM while complaining - thay are employing fanboys as vol GM, so beware, you'll get smited when you have any complaints about the game in their forum), yeat its not E-Ga**s, so it's worth a try.
Free to Play, but you still have to pay - through buying virtual items I guess. I'm not very sure about thow they are holding the game, due to previous bad experiance, so I can't say much.
Oh, and the game are in nutsty state currently, crash ever 10 to 20 minutes, updating all your drivers WILL NOT help anyway.
Some in fo about some free MMORPGs... « Result #3 on May 8, 2006, 6:09pm »
Silk Road Online (SRO) - international version hosted by the Korean developer themsleves, Free to Play, prolly will be selling virtual items. The game sports oriental (Ancient China) when the era of trade activities on the silk road is still active, might possibly expend the game world over to middle east and even the europe or meditarranean, if they are really trying to emulate the silk road era.
The game employs great visual, and is very popular, but sadly, they can't afford more servers (or any other reason) so the servers are ver cramped and laggy.
A cutesy themed MMORPG, based on a fictitious world, no particular era of time/world/history to referance to. The game tout it's the first MMORPG that sports real flying action - you can fly in the sky and battle monsters that, others on land cannot touch.
It's Free to Play and earn by selling virtual items using points.
In My Not So Humble Opinion Part 1 « Result #4 on May 3, 2006, 6:02pm »
Hello there, this is a series of rants and Discovery of truth about something I loved and hate: MMORPGs, that you'll either find very intersting or very boring (my rants, that is).
I begin playing MMORPGs some years ago, and I really loved and sunk a big chunk of my life in it. I begun my journey in, IIRC, iRO (international Ragnarok Online). In there I met some wonderful, and helpful people that, shown me how wonderful an MMORPG, or in this case, any MMOG could be. Making friends and making foes, killing, stealing, looting, grieving... I admit I loved these things. So here, I discovered the first vice of MMORPG: Anonymity.
Being Anonymous, you are not afraid of being retaliated personally. You don't have to be afraid some noobs you bullied will gang up with a big brute (even if that noob is the guy who lived next door to you) and ganked you up in real life. As there are no real consequences, you tend to be as bad ass as possible, making others life as painful as you like. The sense of not having to be responsible for your action has waken the bad seed in you. Swearing and cursing is just a small step to begin. Looting and harassment gives you sastifactory pleasure. You could even go as far as killing and stalking - All while not having to worry about being cuaght, punished and exposed to public - well, not in real life anyway.
After the taste of darkness of being Anonymous, you begin to get sucked in by the game, you want more of the twisted satisfactory, you want it all the time, so you skipped school, skipped work, ignoring friends and family, since your only friend and family now, are those in the game. The second Vice, Slackness has crept on you.
Then perhaps you are not so bad, you won't do those twisted sick things to other, but you crave for being the highest level player, the most powerful player. You want the best weapon, equipment, you want the most unique pet/mount/ride. You want people to stare in awe when they see you. You want them to warship you. Ahhh......so you are after the third Vice: Vanity.
Okay, time to get off work to head home, I'll stop here, and continue in the part 2 when I've got time.
What you can do. « Result #5 on May 3, 2006, 3:07pm »
1) Speak freely, but knowing this: with great freedom, comes dire consquences, so have a brain, freedom does have its price.
2) Post about trading of game items, including account, that is not allowed in some other stupid forum.
Disclaimer: Though I provide a convinient place for you to do trade in anyway you like, I have nothing to do with your trading. I gain not benefit phsically or non-physically from your trades. I only provide a place for you to advertise your offer and a place for you to communicate. I shall not be held responsible if any fraud happened in your trading activity, so be smart and be careful about who you trade with.
3) DO post comics/flames about some other lazy-stupid-eating-their-own-words GMs or forum mods. If I like them (the comics/flames) I might give them a seperate dedicated sections, and a shrine to the main contributors.
